Occupational Therapist

Job Title: Occupational Therapist 

Contract:  Temporary Contract
Shift Time: 08:00–16:00 or 09:00–17:00 Monday - Friday 

Location: Birmingham

I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a well-established private healthcare organisation on a locum basis.

What you’ll be doing:
🔹 Completing comprehensive physical, cognitive, emotional and environmental assessments
🔹 Developing individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans
🔹 Supporting patients with functional skills, cognitive rehabilitation, equipment and adaptations
🔹 Working closely with physiotherapists, nurses, doctors and other AHPs
🔹 Supporting safe and timely discharge planning
🔹 Contributing to MDT meetings, clinical decision-making and goal setting
🔹 Liaising with patients, families and carers to support positive outcomes

What we’re looking for:

✅ HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
✅ BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy or equivalent recognised qualification
✅ Experience within an acute, rehabilitation or community setting
✅ Strong assessment, communication and clinical planning skills
✅ Ability to work independently and effectively within an MDT
✅ Experience in areas such as neuro, orthopaedics, elderly care or mental health would be advantageous
